 Hello! My name is Lazette Gifford, but I'm generally called Zette (rhymes with net!). I live in Nebraska with my wonderful husband, and several crazed cats. The fact that I'm in Nebraska probably explains all the free time to I appear to have -- although that free time seems to disappear as soon as I actually need to get something done! I have been published in both electronic and print format, including material from Double Dragon Publishing, Yard Dog Press, Eggplant Literary Productions, Ideomancer, Fables, Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine, and more. I am the current owner and site administrator of Forward Motion (http://fmwriters.com) a writers' community of over 11,000 registered members. There, besides doing some of the maintenance work, I run a few dares and teach a novel writing course. I also produce Vision: A Resource for Writers. This is a nonfiction ezine with articles on different aspects of writing, as well as interviews with authors. I am also the Associate Publisher for Dragon Tooth Fantasy Ebooks, where I read submissions, make decisions on which ones to accept, and then coordinate the work of contracts, copyediting, and publication. In my spare time (you are allowed to laugh at this line), I play with digital photography and computer art.
